** + Where are you located?**
We are located in the coastal beach town of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Just 11 miles south of Daytona Beach on the Eastern Coast of Florida. The closest airports are Daytona Beach International and Orlando Sanford International.

** + What is the weather typically like?**
•January is typically our coldest month, if we have near freezing temperatures it is normally in January.•February through April are popular months with temperatures in the lower 70’s and upper 80’s.
•May and June are comfortable with temperatures in the mid 70s and higher 80’s
•July & August are our warmest two months with highs of 90’s.
•September and October are starting to return to the 70’s and 80’s
•November and December are typically in the high 60’s to mid 70’s
As for rain, well it’s Florida and light rains are common however we do have a couple of back up plans in case we have a really rainy day.
** + Can we see it beforehand?**
Absolutely! However, The Delamater House is a privately-owned estate and tours are given by appointment only.
Prior to requesting a tour, please review our available dates and confirm that our site fee and venue policies are a good fit for your vision, guest list, and budget.

** + What is included in the venue rental?**
For the venue rental, the price includes: tables, chairs, set up for up to 175 people, a bridal cottage, groom’s bungalow, catering prep area, 6 restrooms, large parking area, The Barn, Bar, Reception Area, Ceremony site and two suites. We have staff on site for the entire day to ensure all vendors have everything that they need.** + What are the event hours?**
Cottage: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PMBungalow: 2-3 hours prior to ceremony
Reception end time: 10:00 PM per our City Sound ordinance
Cleanup and guest departure: no later than 10:30 All vendors and clean up must be done by 11:00 PM

** + Do you have required vendors?**
We do have a required Bar tending Company- J&T Bartending, a family owned and operated business, licensed and insured. They are an awesome part of our team at The Delamater House and their customer service is outstanding!We do require that you have one meeting with our Venue manager, Kayla Delamater.
We do require that you have a Day of Coordinator, a licensed Catering Company, an Officiant and a licensed DJ. All other vendors are optional.
+ What are your catering policies?
You may choose from our list, or choose your own however in all cases, the caterer must be a licensed business (no DIY or potluck dinners) and be able to provide full-service personnel. If you are interested in having a food truck (or two or three!) that is allowed as well, though you will need to hire full-service company.

+ Is the venue handicap accessible?
Yes, the entire venue is handicap accessible with the exception of the two cottages. Please contact us for specific questions.
+ Do you have more than one wedding a day?
No, venue hours do not allow for multiple weddings in order to allow our families to enjoy a full day at the venue.
+ Do you have a designated parking area?
Our parking area is very well lit.
+ What’s the back-up plan for weather?
We do have covered areas that are alternate ceremony options in case of rain.
+ Our guests are from out of town, what should we suggest they do during their off time?
There are tons of things to do in our small coastal town! We will be happy to provide a list of festivities upon request; these are published monthly to capture scheduled events that are held in our town.
+ Where can we stay?
